My name is Francesca Long. I grew up in Oxford, England and later moved to the states where I received my B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I am a PhD student working with Professor Dunand and Professor Seidman researching Cobalt super alloys. My other interests are in art conservancy and the relationship between materials science and art.
